Our shih tzu became extremely lethargic yesterday - not able to walk more than a few paces rather than eating or drinking, he wasn't vomitting and his poo was normal, but his stomach was extremely noisy. The vet gave him a couple of shots and sent us home with zitac, but it is now nearly 24 hours afterwards and he doesn't appear any better. do you think I am expecting too much too soon. We are off to boil some rice according to your advice to see if I can tempt him.
